Solar Canopies

Solar canopies are structures created to house solar PV which are not integral to the building structure. They are used when building roofs are not suitable for PV Installation, but clients want to offset their carbon footprint and generate clean energy. Solar canopies usually double as carports, external dining areas and outside seating areas.

They are used when building roofs are not suitable for PV Installation, but clients want to offset their carbon footprint and generate clean energy. Solar canopies usually double as carports, external dining areas and outside seating areas.

At Green Leaf Engineering, several of our clients want to offset their energy consumption by introducing solar PV to their properties. Unfortunately, roof space is not always an option due to structural issues, spatial limitation, and shading complications. If this is the case but they have large carpark/external areas, then an option we do offer is solar canopies.

At Green Leaf, we can offer a full turnkey offering including the design, supply, and installation of the canopy structure. We again utilise our inhouse design department, who carry out the full structural design, producing working drawings which then allow the structures to move into manufacturing.

Once manufactured we assign our schemes to a specific project manager who progresses with the on-site erection and installation, makes sure the manufacturing drawings are followed exactly to provide a safe, longstanding product which will assist with your energy generation requirements.
