GREEN LEAF ENGINEERING

PV/Solar

Solar PV is one of the market leading technologies when discussing carbon reduction and green energy production. Solar PV works by harnessing sunlight to produce electrical energy through the cells within the panels. These cells absorb sunlight, creating an electrical charge in the form of DC current which flows to an inverter being transferred in AC current, ready for use at electrical outlets.

Green Leaf Engineering specialise in providing Solar PV solutions. Our approach is simple, we carry out an extensive design for all our projects to ensure the best products and technologies are being selected to maximise output for minimum cost.

We do this utilising our inhouse Design Department who produce 3D PV Models, recreating real life environments, to assess how Solar PV would perform in the real world. This assessment looks at everything from how the buildings are currently constructed, right the way through to predicting typical weather conditions for the chosen locations utilising the data from local weather stations . By doing this, we can create a life like simulation of our PV system, ensuring that the performance goals we are tasked with are achieved.

From there, we carry out an extensive pricing exercise using our pre-construction department, looking at everything from raw materials, sub-contract elements, labour, and management fees to produce a robust, market competitive offering for our clients.

When Green Leaf are awarded a contract, we assign a specific Project Manager to the scheme who will oversee the full installation from cradle to grave. They will attend site meetings, manage all H&S duties, programme, cost, as well as the design process with our allocated Design Engineers. The result is a comprehensive management service ensuring that all clients are fully aware of every step of our installations.

Green Leaf pride themselves on having extensive experience in the commercial building services market, providing a tier one approach to our service. This can be seen from the below case studies which represent some of the largest projects delivered in the UK.
