Heat Pumps

Air Source Heat Pumps are a technology which uses electrification to provide heating and hot water to our buildings. They work using electrical energy to heat up water as an alternative to a gas fired boilers. The UK’s Net Zero 2035 targets heavily rely on removal of fossil fuel consumption within our energy sector. Air Source Heat Pumps will play a vital role in our journey to become carbon neutral.

Green Leaf Engineering specialise in providing commercial decarbonisation. Our approach applies a full building assessment to provide the best possible methodology and technologies available. This starts at the feasibility stage where we assess a buildings current infrastructure to see how we can better improve this from a carbon perspective.

Once we have carried out a feasibility study, we select the technologies best suited to the building and move forward with a detailed design and pricing exercise. This goes into detail specific to the project itself including mechanical plant selections, pipe sizing, control strategies, electrical upgrades etc.

If our pre-construction development concludes that the £ spent V carbon tonne saved is worthwhile, we then proceed to the construction stage, which involves the installation of the technologies identified within our design stage.

Within our installation process Green Leaf offer a turnkey service providing the full management and installation of these technologies in house. As with all Green Leaf services, a dedicated Project Manager is assigned to the scheme managing the full process of the project.

Green Leaf pride themselves on having extensive experience in the Commercial Building Services market, providing a tier one approach to our service. This can be seen from the below case studies which represent some of the largest projects delivered in the UK.
